Charlotte Tilbury’s “Hot Lips 2” Collection Is Here-And It’s Even More Magical Than the First

There are few things in life more exciting than a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick launch! Ok, that’s a bit dramatic, but if you are a super fan of her lipsticks, as I am, you get it. The formulas are dreamy, the packaging is drool worthy, and the shades are wearable. Her products are iconic and the “Hot Lips 2” collection is, quite possibly, my favorite Charlotte launch to date (bold statement, I know).

This is Charlotte’s second “Hot Lips” release as her first was insanely successful. She names the lipsticks after her favorite women and I just can’t think of anything more fabulous. I am usually pretty restrained with beauty launches, but as I stated before, this was a non negotiable. There are just some things in life that are meant to be enjoyed.

Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks fall into that category.

I am truly a “your lips but better” kind of gal. There is always a time and a place for a striking red or a bold berry, but the nudes are where my heart flutters.

I decided to stick with the nudes and pick up the shades “J.K. Magic“, “Glowing Jen“, and “In Love With Olivia“.  I was MOST excited about “J.K. Magic” as it encompasses two of my favorite worlds: Harry Potter and Charlotte Tilbury. It doesn’t get better than that! She is a beige/slighty muted mauve shade that is surprisingly flattering. I usually steer clear of shades that aren’t super warm, but this one is beautiful.

“Glowing Jen” (named after the infamous Jennifer Aniston) is a true warm rose. It looks slightly dark in the bullet but when applied, it is warm, not too intense, and incredibly flattering. It gives a slight ’90s vibe and totally takes me back to her days on “Friends.” “WE WERE ON A BREAK!” Any Friends fans out there?!

“In Love With Olivia” is my favorite shade that I purchased. If we’re talking strictly sentimental feels, of course, “J.K. Magic” is my favorite. But the warm, peachy nude tones of “In Love With Olivia” are out of this world gorgeous. It is the perfect mix of “Bitch Perfect” and “Pillow Talk.” It is Charlotte’s “Kissing” lipstick formula and gives a velvet, slightly glossy finish. If you’re going to choose one, I’d probably go with this beauty simply because I think the shade would be flattering on so many skin tones.

This collection is pure magic. The packaging is stunning and the lipsticks are refillable (even the Earth is thanking you, Charlotte)! My favorite aspect of the collection is the fact that the brand is donating one euro from each purchase to the “Women for Women” foundation which assists women in need. Charlotte has truly outdone herself with this launch and I hope that you are able to experience a bit of its magic!
