  • Quick and Simple 2 Minute Eye Makeup!

Hey, gorgeous! Accidentally pressed “snooze” a few too many times? Not to worry! I’ve got you covered! Here is my quick and simple 2 minute eye makeup routine (that I wear even on days when I don’t press snooze!)

    1. Line the lid and smudge it out!

My absolute FAVORITE products for the eyes are creamy, fat pencils that are easy to use! The Charlotte Tilbury Color Camelon pencils are my favorite! I also love the By Terry Ombre Blackstar pencils and the Bobbi Brown Longwear Cream Shadow Sticks. The goal here is “messy chic.” Take one of your pencils and outline your entire lid, upper and bottom (there’s no need to be precise because you’re going to smudge it out.) After you’ve lined, take your finger, a Q-tip or an eye smudging brush and quickly smudge and soften out the lines. For a smoky look, outline the entire eye and scribble a bit onto the lid. Smudge the under eye line to soften and then smudge the lid color into the crease to create a smoky effect. Voila! Shadow done!

    2. Curl those lashes!

Whether you have two minutes or twenty, I cannot stress the importance of curling your lashes! It makes a world of difference when applying your mascara. You’ll end up using less product and your lashes will look five times longer!

    3. Mascara and Brows

These are the two most important steps (in my opinion) to any eye look. Choose an eyebrow product that is foolproof and doesn’t involve using a brush. My favorites are the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Selfie Sculpt brow pencil and the Anastasia Brow Definer. Both products are very similar and have just a hint of creaminess to their consistency so they glide on effortlessly. Apply your favorite mascara (my favorites at the moment are Maybelline Colossal Big Shot and Tanya Burr Cosmetics Selfie Lash.)

There you have it, my friends! Beauty does not have to be difficult or overly involved. At the end of the day, we’re trying to enhance what we’ve already got, not spend hours creating a face that doesn’t look like our own. Now, grab your keys, coffee, and credit cards and go make magic happen today!
