My interest in the natural/organic/whatever you’d like to call it beauty scene began in 2014 as I was prepping for my wedding. I took a keen interest in nurturing my body with the healthiest foods and highest quality products that I possibly could. I had always been a Bobbi Brown kind of gal (clearly, I still am) but there was something seriously intriguing about the idea of “natural” beauty products. I had never heard of Noni juice, turmeric was something I designated solely to curries, and the only “natural” product sitting on my vanity was Josie Maran’s Argan Oil.
A Youtuber I followed was sharing videos of her natural skincare and makeup routines. She was swirling coconut oil around in her mouth for 20 minutes every morning and using honey to cleanse her face.
I was hooked.
Her makeup bag consisted of bougie clean brands like Kjaer Weiss and Juice beauty and her skin was G L O W I N G.
So, I started thinking “what if I started switching out my usual products for natural alternatives”? Off to Whole Foods I journeyed and into my basket went a jar of coconut oil, Manuka honey, and Pacifica’s most neutral lipstick.
Fast forward five years and I’m back into using all different types of brands. I use what makes my spirit and my skin happy! However, included in that category are quite a few natural/clean products that I’ve grown to love. Here are just a few of my faves (that actually do more than just take up space on my vanity).
Dr Hauschka Bronzing Tint
This is the original, multi use bronzing tint that has been seen in the handbags of more beauty editors than I can count! It is such a unique product because it can be used so many different ways. Foundation too light? Mix in a pump of this bronzing tint to instantly give you the color you desire and add a bit of sheen to the skin. It can be used before foundation to warm up the skin or even mixed with moisturizer.
And the bottle is just so chic.
Kora Organics Noni Glow Eye Oil
If you’ve browsed around on my blog or Instagram, it will be no surprise that I adore Kora Organics. You know when you just feel connected to a brand? Yeah. That’s how I feel about Kora. Though I have so many favorites from Miranda Kerr’s gorgeous line, her Noni Glow Eye Oil reigns superior. I never thought that I would enjoy taking an oil around my eye but this one is so lightweight and sinks into the skin quickly. What makes this oil extra special is the rose quartz roller ball tip that can be used to massage and drain excess fluid from the eye area. It is the definition of a luxurious, natural product that works!
RMS Living Luminizer
I fell in love with this product years ago as all of the Victoria’s Secret models were putting it on their faces. #theoriginalinfluencers LOL.
I love it so much that I even had planned to wear it on my wedding day. I decided at the last moment to go with a Bobbi Shimmer Brick instead. It is a cream/slightly oily formula (depending on your climate) but don’t let the “oily” part scare you. Its unique formula makes the product glide incredibly easily over the skin and gives THE most natural looking glow. When I say “natural” I mean there are no visible shimmer particles. Your skin just looks like skin. But like, your best skin ever.
Josie Maran Argan Oil Sticks
May I introduce to you to the most versatile natural beauty product you will ever experience?! I have used Josie’s Argan sticks for years but just recently fell back in love with them. At first, I was turned off by the slightly tackier formula. But what I now love about this formula is the insane amount of glow the product produces as well as its staying power. I love using these on my cheeks, eyes, and lips. The clear one also makes for a fantatsic cuticle product (though she’s a bit too precious for me to use on my cuticles. Aquaphor will do just fine, thanks).
Trilogy Rosehip Oil
While we’re on the topic of weddings, lets talk about the ONLY product I used to get my skin glowing and gorgeous before my wedding. I used Pixi Glow Tonic and Rosehip oil.
And.my.skin.looked.amazing.
Sometimes, basic is better. This is 100% pure organic cold pressed Rosehip oil. Don’t be afraid of the word “oil” if your skin is combination/oily. I am a member of that team and my skin drinks this stuff up! It is high in omega fatty acids and is a natural form of vitamin A. Not only is it fantatsic for hydration, but it really shines as a superstar for brightening. If you’re in Australia, you can pick it up pretty much anywhere. If you’re in the states, Whole Foods and Ulta will hook you up! Also, Kate Middleton is said to be a fan.
So there’s that.
Weleda Skin Food
Another multi tasker that I’ve been using for about 7 years. I first discovered this as a hand cream and LOVED the way it made my hands feel (and how it made them smell)! However, I now use this primarily as a face cream/highlighter (I’ve been using pure Argan oil on my hands and they couldn’t be happier.) The texture is this satisfying, thick almost balm like consistency that surprisingly melts into skin upon contact. It has never clogged my pores or caused any breakouts. It is also surprisingly affordable which is always a bonus!
Sand & Sky Mask
If I could only use one mask for the rest of my life, Sand & Sky it would be! Dramatic, I know, but completely true. This mask has been a GAME CHANGER in helping lighten post acne marks, hyperpigmentation, and has helped control my oil production immensely. She is full of Kakadu plum, Aloe Vera, liquorice root extract, and so much goodness.
Josie Maran Argan Milk
An oldie but SUCH a goodie! This product gives me all the good feels as it reminds me of binge watching Josie’s segments on QVC (if you’re ever bored, watch one of her broadcasts. She is so fun and full of good vibes!) Josie was the first to make Argan oil a thing. As much as I love the classic oil itself, I LOVE the milk formula. It is basically purified water super blasted with micro droplets of Argan oil.
And it is magical.
I hope that these ideas give you a bit of inspiration to check out the natural beauty scene! Natural doesn’t always necessarily mean better. Many brands use the term “natural” simply as a marketing strategy and the products actually aren’t “natural” at all. But with a bit of research and ingredient knowledge, you’ll be able to curate your own little clean collection.
Let m know in the comments below what natural beauty products you’ve been loving!

Nice list! I love to use natural cosmetics and these all product seem good to try out. I will definitely give them a try. Thanks a lot for sharing.
This is what happens when I have a slow morning at work… I had a few minutes to read your new post, and then… found a few more minutes to order the bronzing tint! Our weather in PA is finally getting a little bit nice, so I am ready to look like I have a bit of a tan! Thanks for giving me a product to try that I wouldn’t have heard of otherwise!!
