I love Bobbi Brown. LOVE her! I know that Bobbi is not actually with the brand anymore but I still absolutely adore her products. If I’m wearing makeup, 9 times out of 10, a Bobbi product will be on my face. Ok, enough said about that.
I thought it would be fun to put together a little “best in show” and share my absolute all time favorite Bobbi products. If I could describe her line in one word, it would be “timeless.” These products would work just as well for an 18 year old as they would for an 80 year old. Now that is chic!
The Shimmer Brick
Ah, the classic shimmer brick. Bobbi’s shimmer brick in “Bronze” was one of my first high end makeup purchases. Though that shimmer brick is no longer in my collection, I have quietly collected many others over the years. The shimmer is so finely milled and gives off the most gorgeous glow. As they say, often imitated, never duplicated. That couldn’t be truer for the trusty shimmer brick.
The eyeliner
Bobbi’s black gel liner will always, always be in my collection. I wore it on my wedding day and can never be without it on stage. Did you know that Bobbi actually created her gel liner after being on a trip and forgetting to bring eyeliner? She was in a pinch so she used her mascara to smudge on her eyelids and alas, the inspiration for the gel eye liner came about!
The Lipstick
My absolute favorite lipstick from Bobbi’s collection is “Sandwash Pink.” It is the most gorgeous “your lips but better” shade.” The formula is creamy but somewhat matte and Kate Middleton may have worn it on her wedding day.
Just saying.
The moisturizer
One of my very favorite Bobbi products and favorite skincare products of all time is the Vitamin Enriched Face Base. It is a primer, a moisturizer and literally smells like a spa. It’s also oil free which makes it perfect for brides or anyone that has their natural glow and doesn’t need any extra oils. When I don’t want to think about moisturizer and I just want something that works, I always go for this one.
The eye cream
I’ll admit…I’m not much of an eye cream person. BUT…when I find one that works, I stick to it for years. That is the case with Bobbi’s hydrating eye cream. It is simple, hydrating, not too thick and sits well under makeup. Does it completely diminish dark circles and puffiness? No, but no eye cream. What it does do is prep the under eye for concealer and help control a bit of puffiness around the orbital bone. Definitely a hall of famer and will always be in my collection!
The Foundation
Bobbi’s Skin Foundation is one of my favorite foundations of all time and definitely my favorite product from the brand. The name says it all as it truly feels like a second skin. It is lightweight, breathable and gives the most beautifully natural finish. There is truly nothing like it.
The Luminizer
This is one of my newer Bobbi loves. Her Extra balm gives the skin the most natural, luminous glow without looking disco ball’ish. A tiny bit goes a long way and I like to put it on before my foundation to give that lit from within look. It is just stunning. Now, I just need to try her other shades!
The Brows
You know a Bobbi product is phenomenal if you’ve only used it for 2 weeks and it’s already made your “best in show.” I had never really gotten into Bobbi brow products until I tried their Perfectly Defined brow pencil which, may I add, is REFILLABLE! Yay for brands going in a beautiful, sustainable direction! I just think it’s fantastic. It is so easy to apply, gives a feathery look and I love that it has the brush on the end. That is a must for a good brow product!
There you have it! My favorite products from one of my absolute favorite brands. May I note that the brand has created SO many stunning palettes over the years but most of my favourites are no longer available.
I didn’t want to dangle something pretty in front of you and not have you be able to experience it for yourself! Therefore, these are my classic hall of fames that are chic, available, timeless and just so wearable.
