  • Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil

Let the skincare Gods rejoice! Five years ago, I discovered a skincare secret that has completely revolutionized my daily beauty routine…facial oils. I put aside my La Mer cream that wasn’t doing much good for my skin (or my wallet) and instead began massaging away the stress of the day with my facial oil. I haven’t turned back since!

Kora Organics is an organic skincare brand founded by the Australian beauty, Miranda Kerr. Clearly, anything Miranda Kerr is slathering on her face I want to slather on mine as well! It’s key ingredient is Noni oil I had high hopes for this oil after reading the ingredients list and seeing the cost.

    The Goods:

Rosehip oil, jojoba oil, sunflower seed oil, tocopherol, caprylic/capric Triglyceride, Noni fruit extract, grapefruit extract, lavender flower extract, jasmine flower extract, clover flower extract, rosa damascena flower oil, tunica granatum seed oil, sea buckthorn seed oil, geraniol, citronella, farnesol, citral.

    The Pros

I absolutely love the texture of this oil. I am a huge fan of pure rosehip oil but I find the texture to be a bit heavy for my skin, especially in the summer. This oil is lightweight and sinks into the skin beautifully. I’ve enjoyed layering it over any acid that I apply beforehand. It has worked beautifully on top of the Sunday Riley “Good Genes” serum. I’ve used it almost every night for about a month and half now and have found that it has helped a bit with my hyperpigmentation as well as hydration. The cold, Melbourne winter months have really taken a toll on my skin lately and I’ve struggled to find products that actually hydrate and don’t just sit on top of the skin. This is, for sure, one of those gorgeous oils that lives up to its claims. I think I’ll definitely be repurchasing once I run out.

    The Cons

To be completely honest, I don’t have many cons for this oil. The only thing that I’m not crazy about is the smell. It is not an unpleasant smell by any means but I think that the jasmine flower extract is a bit prominent in the scent. I love clean, fresh or earthy scents to my products and this smells a bit flowery, but again, not unpleasant. That’s the only real con I found.

This is a winner in my eyes! I am super intrigued by Kora Organics and am very anxious to try more of their products. Now, if only they could sell a serum to make us look like Miranda Kerr! : )

You are gorgeous, able, strong and more than enough!

    Love, Carrie xo
