  • Bali Body’s First Makeup Launch- The Highlighting Glow Sticks

Finding a brand that you can constantly rely on can be tricky. Finding a brand that is reliable, Australian owned, vegan, cruelty free and aligns with all of your values can be even trickier!

Enter, Bali Body. It is no secret that I am completely in love with Bali Body’s self tanners. The brand is known for bringing bronzed skin and that “just back from holiday” look to all who experience their products.

But get ready! There’s a new kid on the block! Meet Bali Body’s first ever makeup product…the glow stick.

Highlighters can be such a difficult thing to get right. Some can be chalky, most are too powdery, and when it comes to liquid highlighters, formula is key. I truly think that Bali Body has nailed it with their brand new Glow Sticks. These gorgeous new highlighters are available in 3 different shades: Sunkissed, Rose Gold and (my personal favourite) Moonlit. The Rose Gold has just a hint of a pink/rose hue, Sunkissed gives that gorgeous deep bronzed glow and Moonlit gives a true champagne glow.

The Glow Stick is a liquid highlighter that glides on easily with a doe foot applicator. It gives the most gorgeous sheen without making you look like a disco ball! The formula is buttery and gives that “lit from within” glow. Once it dries down, it still looks glass like and not powdery, which I love! I’ve been using these little beauties on my cheeks, eyes, on my Cupid’s bow and they even look gorgeous on the décolletage. I love the shade range that Bali Body chose as all three shades are so universal and wearable. “Sunkissed” can be built up to give a gorgeous bronzed smokey eye and looks gorgeous when stippled onto cheeks as a bronzer. “Rose Gold” makes a gorgeous blush or blush topper and can be mixed with a swipe of lipgloss to create a natural rosy look. Mixing “Moonlit” with a foundation or Bali Body’s BB cream gives a dewy, flattering finish to the skin.

For a super simple eye look, blend any of the shades on the lid and into the crease, add mascara and you’re good to go! Want to get super gorgeous and glowy? Mix a few swipes of product with your favourite body lotion. You’ll thank me later.

I always talk about my love for multi use products and these glow sticks fit that niche perfectly.

Let me know in the comments below if you plan to try Bali Body’s gorgeous first makeup product! These versatile beauties are so easy to pop in your handbag and apply throughout the day. They would be a fantastic addition to any beauty routine and I’ve been using them nonstop! I love that the brand is branching out with these Glow Sticks and can’t wait to see what the future holds for their colour cosmetics collection.
